Jailbreak iPhone 4.0 beta Firmware with Redsnow

Good news for folks and developers who have updated their iPhone to the latest iPhone 4.0 Firmware Beta. They can now Jailbreak the OS using the dev team's latest Redsnow 0.9.5 beta tool.

Earlier, the iPhone Dev Team showcased the Jailbreak on iPhone 4.0 Firmware beta only within 24 hours of it's initial availability and now they are making the tool public. The tool makes use of the bootrom-level DFU exploit that has been published by the iPhone Dev Team.

The tool has some limitations for now; e.g. it will work only with iPhone 3G on a Mac. As of now there is no support for iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 2G or iPod Touch 3G. Also! those with an Unlocked iPhone should stay away from using this tool at all.

Those with an iPhone 3G can download the iPhone 4.0 Firmware for their device. We also have a procedure to activate iPhone 4.0 with UDID.

Head over to this link to download Redsnow 0.9.5 to Jailbreak iPhone 4.0 Firmware on iPhone 3G.
