Guess what, USA based users of Motorola Droid weren't the only ones waiting for the Android 2.1 update to arrive. It turns out that the Motorola Milestone users in Canada are asking the same question - when will we be upgraded to version 2.1?
We have an answer to this significant question which unfortunately is a vague one. The official wording from the Motorola Canada via their Facebook page simply says the update is coming once it become fits to do so and providing you the best experience is their major priority.
Here is the official statement regarding the matter
A lot of you are asking about the upgrade from 2.0 to 2.1. Ultimately, we want to ensure you have the best possible experience on your device; as a result, the rollout is taking longer than expected. Though we don’t have the new deployment date to share just yet, we do promise we are working to get you updated informat…ion and will let you know as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience. We appreciate it!
We wished we were able to provide you with a specific date, but unfortunately that's 'not the case'. All we can hope is that the update gets rolled out pretty smoothly and early as possible.
