LG GW550 smartphone launched in India

LG who is among the best design leader in mobile phones worldwide, announced the launch of its new smartphone LG GW550, the new Windows 6.5 based smartphone in India. Indian mobile phone market is flooded with Symbian and Android based OS mobiles these days.



LG GW550 is 3G compatible and runs on Quad band. It has a slim and stylish design with an embedded full QWERTY keypad. LG GW550 mobile phone is laid with convenient features for business personnel and youngsters who wish to have power of PC communication and optimum social networking on the move. LG-GW550 keeps them well connected, round the clock and work more efficiently.

LG GW550 makes internet browsing possible with WAP 2.0 web browser that supports HTML and XHTML technologies alongwith EDGE and GPRS technologies for hi-speed connectivity. It also has Wireless Bluetooth, cabled USB, 3G HSDPA and HSUPA. LG GW550 is customizable with wallpapers and screen savers downloaded from LG App Store.

LG GW550 has a 2.4 inches colour screen that provides a 65k colour display with a screen resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. Users can get MicroSD memory card slot that supports up to 8GB. It comprises Quad band technology that covers four GSM networks with HSDPA 900
