India. But if new reports are believed, Hyosung, Korean manufacturer, to introduce its
Hyosung GT250 R in India. The motorcycle is sure to give stiff competition to Bajaj's new offering,
Kawasaki Ninja 250R it is expected to introduce it with a similar kind of price tag. It might be priced around Rs 2.25 lakh to Rs 3 lakh. Earlier,
Kinetic group launched Comet GT250 R in 2005 with a price tag of 1.8 lakh.
The new
Hyosung GT 250 R will be powered by a oil cooled DHOC, 4 valve, 90° V-twin with a displacement of 250cc. The smart power mill is supposed to belt out 27 Hp at 10500 rpm and the peak torque is 16.73 lb/ft at 8000 rpm. It sports five gear system.
The
Hyosung GT250R boasts vacuum fluorescent display as in luxury motorcycles. The bike has two stage headlamps. The general feature of United States made motorcycles, twin carburettor mikuni BDS26, is being used in the bike. It comes with largest tyres that is of 110/70-17 54H (front) and 150/70-17 60H (rear).
