Honda to showcase 100cc bike in Auto Expo

The bike lovers of the country will see a new 100cc bike from Honda in Auto Expo 2010, Delhi. The bike has been in development process for three years and aims to grab the most of the share in growing 100cc class. According to HMSI's operating head, sales and marketing, N.K. Rattan, the bike will be displayed in Auto Expo, 2010. He added that the new bike will be launched by the end of the current financial year. This new bike in India from Honda is believed to be priced at Rs 45,000 to 47,000.

Rattna said that the company intends to export the new bike and hope to see awesome from Indian customers. The bike is learnt to be exported in a few Latin American and Asian nations. Currently, Honda CBZ Stunner and Honda Unicorn have got the major share of exports. Honda Activa is also a very popular scooter in India and the waiting period of the product is one month.

The company targets to export around 70,000 units of bikes as against 50,000 last year. A few months back, Bajaj came back to 100cc bike segment and managed to be on second position in bike industry followed by Hero Honda.
