Tata Indigo Manza is ready to get a facelift. This time company went through some cosmetic changes where they improved the interiors and a bit of exteriors as well the strongly succeessful seden offering from Tata Motors. The slightly transformed Tata Menza may be branded as Tata Manza Elan by taking away the 'Indigo' lable. The reason is completely acceptable that Indigo is another successful compact name which enjoys the good market recommendation. It has been proved that Tata Indigo Manza is the perfect package to go for as it is our cheapest sedan segment which is currently ruled by Maruti Dzire, Mahindra Logan and Ford Fiesta.

The compition is tough to rule in automobile industry. Recently, Toyoto Etios Sedan managed to cross over 16000 units booking in less than a month. So, in order to establish strong hold in the market Tata Motors have to project one of their finest product in an excellent way.

Tata Motors have already initiated as they have launched their new Tata Venture in Maharastra after Rajasthan, it is priced at 5.07 lac. It has the capacity of 1.4 L diesel engine, which could be found in company's other cars such as Tata Indigo and Tata Indica Turbo. The car can produce the power and torque nearly around 69 bph@4500 rpm and 13.7 kgm@2500 rpm respectively.

Tata Nano Diesel to launch in September 2011

Wonder car, Tata Nano world's cheapest car will now come in diesel version and that to be launched in September. It is tiny car with tiny price tag. Tata Nano is the highest selling car of the year and people liked this car very much. It picked up the sales in December, because of high demand Tata Nano introducing Nano in diesel car with the capacity of 600 to 700 cc powertrain. It has been heard that the car will come with increased price tag over the petrol version of Tata Nano. Tat Nano's partners for diesel projects are FEV, Ricardo and AVL. Tata Nano's smallest turbo system has been manufactured by Honeywell.

In the Indian Auto market Tata Nano diesel version has been declared the smallest and cheapest car available. The car will certainly catch attention owing to its diesel model which is unbeatable and not available in small car segment including Maruti 800 and Maruti Alto.

It has been speculated that Tata Nano's diesel version will be prove fortunate for the company.

In the beginning of September car will open for sale in all the showrooms across India. For expanding its market share in India company as introduced various attractive offers. The warranty period of the car as been extended for four years and the safety fetures in the car will be revised.

Currently the car is going through fixation of sales prices and safety issues.

Tata Nano to get costlier from first November 2010

Tata Motors is taking a minor price increase on the Tata Nano, effective from November 1, 2010, to partially neutralise the steep increase in input costs in the last two years. The average increase is about Rs. 9000/- (ex-showrooms), with prices varying from city to city and model to model. As of now, Tata Motors has announced open sales of the Tata Nano in the states of Kerala (since August 2010) and Karnataka, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal (since October 2010). The company has tied up with 39 Banks, NBFC, Cooperative and Gramin Banks to offer customers with loans for purchasing the Tata Nano at attractive rates of interest.


More such arrangements are in process. As a result of these tie-ups, the Tata Nano can be owned at an EMI of less than Rs. 3000/-. Tata Nano comes in three variants such as Tata Nano Standard, Tata Nano CX and Tata Nano LX. The all variants are available with affordable price tag between Rs 1,15,361 to Rs 1,79,254 (ex-showroom,Delhi). The all Variants of Tata Nano are loaded with impressive features which makes these more classy and comfy.


The standard version of Nano is available in three exciting shades and comes loaded with single-tone seats and fold-down rear seat. The second one model is also available with five attractive colours with comfy features like heating and air-conditioning (HVAC), two- tone seats, parcel shelf, booster-assisted brakes, fold-down rear seat with nap rest.

Tata Aria launched in India

Tata Motors today launched the Tata Aria, the first Indian four-wheel drive crossover, a luxurious creation with the finesse of a sedan and the muscle of an SUV all blended in one car. The Tata Aria redefines several benchmarks with its design and technologies, offering class leading features that take comfort and safety to a new height. The selectable 4x4 is equipped with a Torque-on-Demand System which significantly enhances all-terrain capabilities. It is the first in its segment with an In-dash GPS-based Navigation System. It is also among those rare cars in India to offer advanced safety features like the Electronic Stability Programme (ESP), which ensures the car’s stability, and six airbags to ensure safety in exigencies. The Aria’s styling is a blend of bold proportions, uncluttered lines and uncompromising aesthetics. The aggressive, well planted stance is tempered by a lunging silhouette and a dynamic roofline. Wraparound dual barreled headlamps complement the signature Tata grille. Chrome detailing on the sides accentuates its premium class. The interiors reflect the same richness and elegance in design, layout, and visual appeal. Premium leather upholstery enhances richly textured trims in single or dual tone themes. The Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) senses any mismatch between the driver’s intended direction and the actual direction of the car, and automatically intervenes to apply braking force to the appropriate wheel and stabilises the car. Along with ESP, the Traction Control System (TCS) maintains stability under situations of sudden acceleration. The Aria is equipped with disc brakes on all four wheels resulting in superior braking effectiveness and better control. The Antilock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Breakforce Distribution (EBD) aids steerability and control in emergency braking situations and on slippery surfaces. The Aria’s frame is constructed with advanced hydroformed members. Hydroforming enhances their rigidity while reducing weight. The Tata Aria is being launched in three trim levels, all with 4x4 – the Aria Pride at the top end, the Aria Prestige and the Aria Pleasure, each in eight colour options. Tata Nano open sales begin in Maharashtra, Karnataka, UP and WB

Tata Motors has recently announced open sales of the Tata Nano in the states of Maharashtra, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal. Residents of these 4 states, who are desirous of driving home a Tata Nano but had not booked the car during 2009, will be able to purchase a Tata Nano now. Customers will be able to take a closer look at and test drive the Tata Nano across all Tata Motors dealerships and special Nano access points. Tata Motors has tied up with 25 banks to offer customers with loans for purchasing the Tata Nano at attractive rates of interest. More such arrangements are in process. The Tata Nano offers an incredibly spacious passenger compartment which can comfortably seat four adults. With a length of just 3.1 metres, width of 1.5 metres and height of 1.6 metres, the Tata Nano has the smallest exterior footprint for a car in India but is 21 percent more spacious than the smallest car available today.



A high seating position makes ingress and egress easy. Its small size coupled with a turning radius of just 4 metres, makes it extremely manoeuvrable in the smallest of parking slots. The 2-cylinder 624 cc engine – delivering 35 PS @ 5250 rpm and a torque of 48 Nm @ 3000 rpm – enables the car to have a top speed of 105 kmph and negotiate inclines with a gradeability of 30 percent. Fuel efficiency: 23.6 km/litre, certified by the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) under mandated test conditions, which is the highest for any petrol car in India. The high fuel efficiency, with a low kerb weight of 600 kg, ensures that the Tata Nano – at 101 gm / km – has the lowest CO2 emission among cars in India. The Tata Nano’s safety performance exceeds current regulatory requirements – it passes the roll-over test and offset impact, which are not regulated in India. It has an all sheet-metal body, reinforced passenger compartment, crumple zones, intrusion- resistant doors, besides mandatory seat belts and complies fully with existing Indian safety standards. Tubeless tyres – among which the rear ones are wider endowing extra stability – enhance safety. Warranty: 18 months or 24,000 km, whichever is earlier. On the other hand, Tata Motors is going to launch India's first crossover car model, Tata Aria on 11th October 2010 in the country.
