The Ford Ikon is a car that was initially launched in 1999 in India. After this it got a major facelift in 2003 when the interiors of the car were revamped. During this time the engine also received retuning so as to offer improved economy. The car has a short and stubby grille in the front and this makes the car look more aggressive.
New Ford Ikon is a C segment sedan provided with 1399cc 8V SOHC TDCi diesel engine that generates 68 Bhp @ 4000 rpm and 160 Nm of torque @ 2000 rpm. It has active & passive safety features like parking sensors, fog lamp and rear seat belts.
