The new AdSense interface offers features such as more detailed reports with graphs and the ability to complete common actions in bulk, and more accessible tips and help.

To Apply, just fill out this interest form, and they may be able to include you in the beta test of the new interface. Make sure to apply only if your account’s display language is English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, or Japanese.

Only a while ago, Microsoft unveiled a platform preview build of IE9 to developers at MIX10, which shall have native support for new web-technologies such as HTML5 and GPU-based hardware acceleration.

The most notable improvements in IE9 is the Microsoft's new Javascript engine, they call it 'Chakra', as well as support for several standards such as HTML5, DOM, and CSS3. In the demo for IE9, it was also shown how the hardware-accelerated graphics capability of the browser allow it to render the same HTML, script, and CSS markup much faster as compared to other browser. Also, IE9 happens to be the first browser to provide hardware-accelerated SVG support.

The platform preview build can be downloaded at the IE9 Test Drive website. Please note that the platform preview is not a full web browser and should not be used for a daily user. Rather it should only be used by developers for preliminary testing purposes. A beta for IE9 will be available soon.

The policies adopted are very strict limit Internet use, with spyware monitor and censor content on the network.

Among these countries, Australia is under the status of “under observation” for trying to block Internet services portal that the government considers inappropriate, including those with child pornography and manuals for drug use. Critics of the measure fear that the list of sites and the reasons for blocking them is kept secret, thereby possibilities that legitimate websites are also censored.

The conference did shower us with a presentation but no word was available as to when the service would be officially launched but a little info was provided as to which sites would be the first ones to connect.

New Developer Tools for Windows Phone 7

Microsoft’s much awaited event MIX10, started with Microsoft officials emphasising on how Silverlight and Expression Blend will complement the XNA Game Studio 4.0 toolset. Microsoft launched many tools for developers which they can use to build applications for Windows Phone 7 operating system.

The developer tools include Windows Phone Emulator which can be used by developers to test different applications for Windows Phone 7. Other tools include Visual Studio 2010 Express for Windows Phone 7, Expression Blend for Windows Phone and a Windows Phone 7 add-in for Visual Studio 2010. The tool can be downloaded from Microsoft official Windows Phone 7 website.

At MIX10, Microsoft also introduced release candidate version of Silverlight 4. The final version will be available for users by the end of April 2010. However, Windows Phone 7 will not support Silverlight 4 but it will be compatible with the current Silverlight 3 with some Windows Phone specific features.

The hint was obvious that Microsoft had some ideas up their sleeves to be presented at MIX10. But the question remains whether Microsoft have any other important announcements to make during MIX10 or will it all be only about Windows Phone 7 Series?

Apps, Games and Marketplace on Windows Phone 7

The web is abuzz with news, photos and demos about the Windows Phone 7 Series as Microsoft recently unveiled developer tools for its upcoming mobile OS at MIX10.

At MIX10, the main focus of Microsoft was to demo apps for the Windows Phone 7 Series platform and give developers an insight into what amazing things could be done by only using the tools available for the platform. Foursquare, Shazam, Seesmic were only some of the apps demoed, built on the Silverlight technology.

PAN Number Required for PayPal users in India

Recently PayPal has run into trouble in India with RBI bringing in rules for transferring fund to India. As a result of this PayPal closed personal transfer to users in India and bank transfer were returned back. The bank transfer was subsequently started once again on March 3rd. Now PayPal Indian users need to furnish the PAN card details for using PayPal. This information needs to be entered when you login to PayPal.

PAN or permanent account number refers to a 10-digit alphanumeric number issued in the form of a laminated card, by the Income Tax Department in India.

Why do you need a PAN number for using PayPal?

• PAN number is compulsory for all financial transactions as per Indian laws and regulations.
• PAN number provides you with a unique identification and makes it easier for PayPal to track your financial transactions.
